I received my Master of Fine Arts in 2018 and work as a studio artist. I am a former Figure Drawing Instructor at a local community college where I was able to teach from observation. The mediums I prefer to work with are charcoal, Graphite, and oil paint. My process is either observation, memory, or imagination when working on a drawing or painting. I enjoy the connection with people and my subconscious while developing a drawing and painting that is timeless. My current works are the depictions on the subconscious patterns that make up death, by way of automatisms. I will reflect on the human condition surrounding death through mind, body, and spirit drawings and paintings.
